The product is very good and makes knee feel better. Wish the hold over knee was a bit larger.

Great product, inconsistent sizing, March 24, 2011

These stabilizers really do the trick. I have purchased two pairs independent of each other. Each time the arrived one side is always smaller than the other. Once it was the right side, once left. When my knee gets swollen the smaller side barely fits.

Not so good, February 8, 2011

The problem I found with this device is that the velcro attachments are located directly on the knee cap. That made it difficult to get snug enough to keep it from falling down. I had purchased the double strap from chopat and really loved it. It was getting worn out so I thought I would try this model. You must make sure you measure correctly for this device to work. I got it a little larger than I needed and due to the strap placement I couldn't get it to stay up.

Love these!!!, December 31, 2010

First saw Cho Pat on the Appalachian Trail, 90% of the hikers with some type of knee support were wearing a Cho Pat product. I ordered 3 types after a backpacking injury causing severe knee pain. The Patellar Kneecap Stabilizer is the one I always use, it is incredible. Wore them on multi day backpack with no pain in my knees. Decided to take them off while hiking for a few hours and experienced pain, so I put them back on, hiked 2 more days and felt great. Thank you Cho Pat, without these stabillizers, my long days of hiking and backpacking would not be possible.

Finally, relief for knee!, June 17, 2010

I had knee surgery Nov 2009. Was healing ok until I fell, landing on concrete. I tried at least 10 different knee stabilizers until I read about Cho-Pat Patellar Kneecap Stabilizer in the Tennis Magazine. As soon as I got it, I put it on, and the relief was INSTANT. No pain and No limp. I have since ordered a second one so I can rotate them and not wear same one every day. A great buy and a fantastic price.

NOT FOR CYCLIST, May 22, 2010

I could not use this product riding my bike.I didn't ride 5 pedal strokes before I knew it was not going to work. The straps just bunch up in back. I tried several adjustments to no avail. In all fairness it felt good just walking. It would probably be find if you do not need to bend your knee a full 90 degrees

I've dislocated my knee three times. The first time was 22 yrs ago when I was 13. The other two times have been in the last few years. Been scared to have surgery, but lately have had several instances where I felt my knee cap start to slip out of joint. I was prescribed by my ortho doc a pricey brace. I wore it but, didn't care for it. It always slid down my leg while I worked. I found this brace and LOVE it!! Stays right where it needs to be. Wish I had this all along. Makes my knee feel very stable between the four buttresses. And it costs about 1/4 the price of the other brace I have. It's great.

evaluation of kneecap stabilizer, November 26, 2009

initial comments(Evanston, IL)
I like the device, but I found the instructions on how to fasten it to my leg much too vague.
I have only used it once so far, so I am still evaluating it.

I have noticed that it greatly helps keep my knee in place when I'm driving. It greatly reduces the pain I did experience prior to using this stabilizer. Now I just need to get one for the other knee.

Kneecap Stabilizer Needs Better Sizing, August 6, 2009

I was very disappointed with how Cho Pat has you size this product. The product fits loose based on how they have you measure for size and how the product comes shipped.
