Product Description
Medical professionals designed and evaluated Cho-Pat's unique, sports / medical device that helped alleviate the symptoms of pain and discomfort associated with shin splints.

The ChoPat Shin Splint Compression Sleeve works by providing gentle compression while firmly supporting the lower leg muscles and soft tissue. The sleeve also tends to stimulate circulation and maintain warmth, which helps reduce fluid build-up. Two foam core straps act as shock absorbers reducing micro trauma to the tendons and soft tissue and helps maintain the device in the proper position.

Use the compression sleeve alone or with other forms of therapy to provide effective relief.

Product is available in White or Black.

Please Note: This product contains neoprene

Love it!!!, November 21, 2011
By gym mom 1(New Augusta, MS)

Actually bought this for my 11 year old daughter who is a level 7 gymnast and has suffered from shin splints for about a year now. Every night we had to ice her leg and/or take advil. Made practice very painful and as you know, gymnasts are expected to practice no less than 16 hours per week. She has not taken an advil or had to ice her leg since she started using the ChoPat Shin Splint Compression Sleeve. It is well worth the price which I found quiet affordable, although the shipping is almost as much as the sleeve...the shipping cost is my only complaint. It was $10 to ship and it was NOT rush ordered. But all and all soooo worth it!

Fits Like a Glove, July 12, 2011
By Tammy(Panama City Fl)

I recently starting having problems with shin slints and muscle spasms. I was refered to a vascular physician who recommended compression sleeves. After just a few uses my spasms have subsided and my leg pain is gone. If I am on my feet for long hours my lower back and legs hurt, wearing the Cho-pats keeps my back and legs from hurting. I highly recommend this product. I am now looking for wrist supports for my teenager who is in competitive cheerleading

Comfort post-Stress Fracture, June 9, 2011
By KJ the future-marathoner(Chicagoland Burbs, IL)

I developed a stress fracture from over-use and old shoes 6 weeks in to training for my third half marathon. I took two months off of running and wanted some sort of "bandage" that would help me while I got back in to running. This Compression Sleeve definitely makes my leg feel better while running. It is difficult to get off since it's so tight, but definitely the "bandage" I was looking for. I even bought a second one for my other leg...just in case!

7 years of pain gone, May 11, 2011
By Cho-Pat(Golden, Colorado)

I never write a comment on any thing, until now.I have had knots in my calves for over 7 years, it makes it hard to sleep. I've been getting massages once a week on my calves, with the massause saying that I have the worst knots of any of his clients. I bought 2 different electric massaging machines for calves only with little results. I bought 2 of these Cho-Pat Shin Splint several weeks ago, which I now wear every night. I'm proud to say my knots are gone along with the pain. My former massause is completely shocked on the difference in my calves. It may not work on everyone, but it sure worked on me.

Definetly worth it !, April 7, 2011
By MicRey(Eau Claire, WI)

These feel great. I teach Zumba three times a week so I really had to find something that would allow me to give the class 100% of my energy without pain. I felt the bottom strap was too constricting so I removed it and this worked for me. I no longer have the pain in my legs and use these as needed.

Not just for shin splints , September 5, 2010
By Jerry Lego(Chicago)

I have been using this product for a muscle flap performed on my right leg. I was using ace bandages that would need to be rolled up everytime I took it off but with this product it saves so much time looks and works better. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a muscle flap on their lower legs.

Serious Compression!, April 28, 2010
By marcusgrimm(Lancaster, PA)

I'm 80% of the way through training for my 4th marathon and have had a lot of problems with tissue tenderness on my shin (not a stress fracture, which this wouldn't help!). I've used many other compression products (Zensah, Skins, etc.) and they help a little, but the Cho-Pat is much more hard core, providing much tighter compression. Due to the strong compression, the Cho-Pat isn't quite as comfortable as others for recovery, but it's definitely superior for using during exercise. I'm wearing it on all my workouts now, and using the Zensahs for recovery and my shin feels great, just 2 days after a 22 mile run.

Granny loves it as much as I, July 25, 2009
By Making it a family afair(Manitowoc, WI)

I would suggest ordering the black as it shows less dirt. Love this black one just as much as the first one (which was white) with the exception it stays clean longer. My 97 year old grandmother needs to wear support (she has been using knee high compression stockings) for swelling due to diabetes. Unfortunately, she has fractured her back twice from pulling them on. Because her swelling is not related to her feet, this product is easier for her to put on, more comfortable (because it doesn't slide down creating those uncomfortable creases) and is comfortable. I cant help but rate this with a AAA+++ rating. If you are thinking of this product to reduce swelling such as my grandmother did and are unsure if it will work, use an ace bandage first to make sure that the swelling is not due to the foot. If the ace bandange is working I highly suggest giving this a GO!

Shin Splint Compression Sleeve, June 25, 2009
By Slower healing than anticipated(MANITOWOC, WI)

Nothing but human duct tape (the not so medical term) would hold and support my torn ligaments in the knee joint and ankle joint from giving away. I broke my leg in February, had surgery and was on my way to healing, so I thought. Having considerable problems with a torn ligament from my fall, my therapist (whom I fully trust) suggested ordering one of these just to see if it would work in providing support and pain relief. The tape was taking it's toll on my skin, and he stated that I can't do tape for the full healing term, as this injury is going to take quite some time to heal. To his surprise it worked BETTER than he had thought. I am now ordering another Shin Splint Compression Sleeve in black so that I don't need to be without one when I wash it.
