I can't believe it works !!!, September 1, 2010
|
By
Miguel the hydrographer(Los Angeles, Ca)
After three knee operations and a knee replacement in my near future I was looking for something to help me extend the time before I would need a knee replacement. I never thought a knee strap would work better than any of my knee braces, but it did. This knee stap relieves alot of the pain that I would get from just walking. Its light weight and easy to clean, and its inexpensive.

It does help, when one's knee is misaligned, August 28, 2010
|
By
Sifu 88(Chantilly, VA)
I was skeptical but found the Cho Pat dual action knee strap to be effective in keeping my knee aligned and all of its moving parts inplace when it was injured. Surprisingly, by immobilizing excessive movements in my weakened knee (caused by a temporary loosening of the ligament from sports) and thus exercising it lightly, I recovered more quickly than relying on ice and rest alone.
If one strained one's knee due to excessive exercise and does not require reparative surgery and/or physicial therapy, I recommend this simple yet effective device as a facilitative tool for a more rapid recovery and return to sport or exercise

Highly recomend, August 25, 2010

By
Amy the Runner(GA)
I read about this knee strap on a runners web site. I am training to run a marathon. I have gteat shoes with great inserts but my knees still hurt during and after running. I love how this strap wraps around and how I can adjust the tension, unlike the ones you have to pull up your leg to get it on. I can tell a world of difference now, running with this knees strap. Sometimes my knees might be a bit achey but nothing like before! I'll never run with out them again.... and this site deffinatly had the best price.

"Exceptional Product!", July 27, 2010
|
By
Ann the Kinetic(Queens, NY)
I recently purchased the Cho-Pat Dual Action Knee Strap and highly recommend it.
I had knee surgery performed a few years ago on an interior Meniscus. I have been wearing it for a few weeks now, and find it works wonders by relieving pain and adding much needed support to my knee.
I like this product so much that I will be ordering another one for whenever the one I have wears out.
Thank you so much!

Helpful support, June 29, 2010
|
By
Karen - Yosemite hiker(El Paso, TX)
I just hiked Half Dome at Yosemite National Park, and found the braces very helpful. My knees had bothered me on previous hikes, so that was one of my main concerns. The braces freed me of the worry of my knees going out of place, and although I had a little very minor stiffness, as could be expected, my knees were stabilized, so I never had pain, and they've recovered fairly quickly.

I thought the band might offer twice the support of the single knee bands, but it's design makes it move too much. I doesn't offer the same support of the single strap and is not very comfortable. The back part makes my leg sweat way to much.

One Happy Cop(Holland, MI)
I got my dual action knee straps for both my knees. As soon as I took them out of the package I put them on. I knew right then that I had spent my money wisely. The straps give the proper pressure to the tendons that have been bothering me for too long. Other than a few adjustments in proper tension for long term wear I would say this is the best product I have bought for my knees. Give them a try.

Kathryn the scientist(Bloomfield, NJ)
I have chondromalacia in both knees from patella maltracking from years of running. Sadly at age 34, I couldn't even walk around the mall for a few hours without my knees swelling and being painful. My doctor recommeneded these, and I am on my third pair. I have been able to excercise without any pain or swelling for six years now. I owe my physical fitness to this product. My only regret is not finding them sooner. The best money you will ever spend!

Better but no miracle, March 20, 2010
|
By
Dave(San Diego, CA)
Perhaps too soon to tell, I am 56, 150 lbs. about 25 years ago, while active with road biking, raquetball, skiing and karate my right knee would swell, need to be "clicked" and routinely would be worse 24-36 hours after strenuous exercise. Had 2 surgeries within 9 months on r knee for the same diagnosis of tight IT band and chondromalacia. Never right again. Found my level of exercise had been reduced to yardwork, swimming with pool bouys and walking.
Last year I said to heck with it, went back slowly on road bike, but soon riding very aggressively (at least for me) 15-30 mile rides, avg 23-23 mph. In the last 8 months have added mountain biking. Ride of some sort at most every other day. Very few knee complaints, ecstatic and tended to push harder every opportunity. Last month both knees have been barking, ugly clicking and swelling or days, decided to try Cho-Pat Dual Action Knee straps for both knees. First MB ride:symptom free, first RB ride: symptom free, next RB ride, knees are a barking and swollen. Perhaps I need to realize these are not magical but helpful.

Jim Lawyer(Minneapolis)
I bought the knee strap when I was having serious pain while bicycling long distances. (I had originally seen the ad in Bicycling Magazine.) After about a month of use, I no longer needed it. About three years later, I was again experiencing knee pain while trying to work out during the long Minnesota winter. Of course, I couldn't find my old brace and I ordered another. I was surprised that it arrived in about two days. I'm using it and, once again, it permits me to engage in strenuous exercise. I can't recommend it more strongly. I'm a lawyer by trade and I'm usually complaining (on behalf of clients) to merchants who don't deliver. So it's a bit of a novelty to me to be offering this type of glowing recommendation.

I had ACL, MCL and meniscus surgery on my knee and was out of tennis for 2 years.
When I started playing again, I noticed that a lot of girls on my team were wearing this knee strap, and they just raved about it. I went home ordered one and have been playing tennis with it ever since, it is wonderful, it gives my knee great support. This is the second one I ordered, I gave my old one to a friend with a bad knee who wanted to try it. She never gave it back.
Shipping was very fast also.

By
RockyG(Ponca City, OK)
After ACL surgery 5 years ago my knee has never been the same. It's been difficult to work out due to the pain as I have a tendancy to overdue in both work and play. I had a regular "jumper's knee single band that worked okay. However, the dual action knee strap gives you more stability and I can feel the difference when I'm on the treadmill or golf course. Obviously, I like the product and highly recommend it, even if you just have a sore knee due to everyday stress and strain.

By
Jay the Marathoner(West Orange, NJ)
I'm a 50-year old marathoner who has completed 46 races on the way to completing 100. I weigh 208 pounds, and my pronation tends to cause tendonitis. I'm on my 4th Cho-pat dual action knee strap. Originally 4 years ago I bought it for my right knee, then I went to both knees. I consider it as important to extending my running life as my treadmill (a professional-grade True). The secret seems to be that the Cho-pat tightens the knee tendons, which keeps them from accumulating irritation that results in tendonitis. When I run on the treadmill, I wear shorts and the straps, but after about 10 miles the straps become loose and I have to re-tighten them. When I run 26.2 mile races I wear either full-length tights or knee-length, which hide the straps and keep the velcro attached throughout the entire 26 miles. This is a great product for anyone who is serious about continuing to be active despite overuse-related knee pain.

Worth every penny!!!, October 9, 2009
|
By
Red(Attleboro, MA)
This was suggested by my orthopod, who told me taping was better but the strap was good also. I initially hesitated getting this because I was taping my knee. However tape was costly since I had problems with it sticking to my skin(even with skin prep) I was in awe the very first day I wore it. Absolutely no knee pain when I was wearing it. I did normal activity at work and even took the stairs, which I had been avoiding, no pain! What a difference it made to my day!
It took a little getting use to and I have to wear wider pant legs but all in all a very good product that delivers what it says.

Roisin the Runner girl(White River Jct, VT)
This is my second one. I didn't follow directions well the first time and ruined mine by washing and drying it after each run. The velcro no longer stuck! I was told by my sports medicine doc that a brace would not help my runner's knee but my stubborn self did not lissten. I've tried several other braces and was somewhat satisfied but this one is truly the best. It's so small that it doesn't hinder my other muscles from their growth like other longer braces. I got one for my son, a 7th grade QB and he is hooked as well!

The knee strap fixed it for me!!!!, August 10, 2009
|
By
chrisL(Frestone Valley, western Sonoma County California)
Having a really bad problem with arthritis in my knee, I've tried just about everything...my doctor said the next option was three injections of Supartz right into my knee cap. Well, did that. Still having problems...less problems...but still problems going up and down stairs. Saw the knee strap in Men's Journal Magazine and ordered one. I have it on right now. Probably am going to have to get another one just to make certain I'm never without it. It did for me what those injections didn't. Hopefully, my next step, having the doc go in and "clean it out" and the step after that, "knee replacement surgery" are on the side track for now.

The greatest thing invented for the knee, April 1, 2009

I have used this knee brace for years and it is the only one that works for the kneecap. I have tried them all and this is the most comfortable and ease to use. It works wonders. I would not leave home without it on long trips with lots of walking and step climbing. I have a kneecap that dislocates.
