Thigh Compression Strap
lliotibial Band Syndrome, a superficial thickening of tissue on the outside of the thigh that can be painful, may find some relief with the thigh compression strap. The strap applies compression at the area of discomfort to help prevent the snapping or friction of the lliotibial band over the bony prominence just above and outside of the knee joint or further up the leg at the hip joint. This compression may help the healing process. While it may alleviate the symptoms of lliotibial Band Syndrome, the cause may still be present. It is suggested the user seek evaluation and treatment by a medical professional in conjunction with the band–s use. Ideally, the user should wear the strap nearest the area of most discomfort.

My chiropractor's advice was to use it on race days only when necessary. I stashed the strap at a marathon and probably felt better just knowing I had the strap with me! Used it in training and it seems to do the trick.

I could barely walk half a mile in pure pain, but I would not give up.When I recieved this miracle strap, I could not believe it. I am now able to jog a little bit and I am cycling again , which is what I really wanted to do most.I am taking it easy but, I could not do anything because of the pain.Now pain is bye bye,I am enjoying my excersise like never before. Believe me it is a simple strap that works.
